Despite the apparent destruction, a surprising atmosphere of serenity settled over the area. Broken buildings, once symbols of grandeur, now stood as silent testaments to a forgotten conflict, yet wildflowers grew from the fractured pavement and birds sang their melodies amongst the fragments. It
